Condolences

Condolence From: Linda Tenney
Condolence: I was deeply saddened to learn of Mr. Parkes death. It was only recently through DNA testing that I discovered he is a cousin and that we share an as yet unknown common ancestor. Unfortunately, the discovery came to late for us to connect and meet in person. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

Condolence From: Ken Parks, President, The Parke Society
Condolence: I am saddened to learn of the passing of my cousin. We had the pleasure of meeting twice at the OGS conferences in 2015 & 2016, and discussed how and where our common Parkes ancestors may have lived in Northern Ireland. I will miss his presence as we continue our genealogical journey, and wish to convey my sincere condolences to his family. RIP

Condolence: Our heart felt thoughts are with you Migz.
My Uncle Don was an inspiration for many people and his Uncle Don-isms will always be remembered. For me, it was his curiosity that made the difference - from his expanded understanding of music, to stamps and model trains and then he learned computers before much younger ones in the family. And then he learned html and made his own web site and then another and then my Dad's website.
Always something new, exciting and inspiring for Unka-Dunka.
Love you Unk. You will be missed!

Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers are with you Migz. My time at your cottage, growing up, had a large impact on me and the amount of outdoor hiking, camping and canoeing I still do today. Don loved that A frame in the . bush and the isolation in nature can be very rewarding. Peace and love to you Uncle Don.

Condolence: My sincerest condolences to Migz. I will always be greatful to Don for taking me under his wing and showing me how to be a better model railroader. I will also miss our musical and dog discussions. Not to mention the appreciation to you and him for opening your home to us on Friday nights for operating sessions. We had a great time! Thanks for sharing Don with us! He will live on in our hearts, fond memories, and stories. God bless you and be with you in your time of loss.
