Condolences

Condolence From: Chris Ozolins
Condolence: I worked with Larry at TTC from 2002 until his retirement. He played a big role in helping me hire my first assistant engineer, which was not an easy task. I understand he was one of pioneers in helping Thales/SEL company get setup in Canada, and as a result was part of the 'backbone' of our signaling dept. at TTC for many years. I'm sorry to hear of his passing at such a young age. Chris Ozolins, MASc., P. Eng.

Condolence From: John Leonardo
Condolence: I worked with Larry on Sheppard Subway Project 1999-2002. He was very professional and had immense technology knowledge. He taught me much about TTC signaling which helped mold me.

We had many laughs while getting the project completed. I will remember his memorable laugh forever. I also had the pleasure to work with one of his legacies (Bryan) of which I'm sure he is very proud.

My condoloences,

John Leonardo

Condolence: To Barb and the House family,

We probably have not met but please accept our condolences for your loss. We have both played bridge with Larry and regarded him as a friend as well as a bridge partner. He was a true gentleman and a fine bridge player.

We will miss him.

Condolence From: Bob and Bonnie House
Condolence: Dear Barb and family,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss.
Although we have not seen you for years, we were shocked to hear of Larry's death.
It brings back so many memories of the old House farm on Mt. Albion Rd in Hamilton, and all the aunts, uncles and cousins gathering there for special occasions back in the 50's.
I called my brother Paul in Florida to let him know
We are thinking of you and know with your children's support, you will be able to carry on.
Our sincere sympathy,
Bob and Bonnie House

Condolence From: Susan and Peter Robinson
Condolence: Dear Barb and family, we are so sorry to hear about your Loss. Larry was the first person to take me down hill skiing at Chedoke Winter Park and try to teach me chess. Neither went well. Lots of memories around the dining room table,at Christmas and Thanksgiving getting caught up and talking about our lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Condolence From: Mike Sone
Condolence: Dear Bryan and Family

Please accept my deepest condolences to you and your family on the loss of your father. I'm sure he was loved very much by you and your family and friends and that he knew this in his mind and heart, perhaps even replayed in his dreams, as he passed on from this world during his slumber. Please take the time you need to honour his memory so that he never dies in your heart. When you are ready to return to the office, please feel free to take us up on our offers of support. Take care, Mike
