(Long time resident of Northern Ontario, Active in many roles within the Royal Canadian Legion Br #87 and dedicated parishioner of Holy Name Parish, Kirkland Lake ON)

Passed away peacefully at Fairview Lodge Whitby on Thursday March 2nd, 2017 at the age of 90.
Dearly loved wife of the late Vincent Lafranier (2004)

Much loved mother of John and his wife Jeanne of Whitby, Joe and his wife Vivian of Midhurst and Mark and his wife Liana of Pickering. Pre-deceased by her son Dan. Survived by daughter-in-law Sheila Lafranier of Sudbury.

Loving and loved grandmother of Michael (Nicole), Katelyn (Jeff), Jack, Lori (Fern), David (Jen), Katherine, Joey, Jordan and Cara. Great grandmother of Emma, Andrew, Noah, Adam, Sean and Ashleigh.
Predeceased by her sister Mary (late Edgar) and sister Mary Ellen (late Don).
Margaret is survived and will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews including the MacDonald family in Cape Breton, N.S.

Visiting at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday morning (March 7th) until 11:30 a.m. Then to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 903 Gifford Street Whitby where Funeral Mass will be held at 12:30 p.m.

In memory of Margaret, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
Margaret will be laid to rest beside her husband in Kirkland Lake.
