Obituary for Robert Kinton White
Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday February 2nd, 2017 at the age of 69, after a brief battle with cancer.
Much loved husband and best friend of Janice (nee Taylor) for 48 years. Loved and cherished Dad of Allison and her partner Mark, Valerie and her husband Steve, Sarah, and Kory and his wife Janine. Very much loved Grandpa of Tyler, Kurtis, Kyle, Alex, Trent and Shianne and Great-grandpa of Kacen.
Dear brother of Darryl and his wife Mary K and Brian and his wife Ginette. Brother-in-law of Dianne Bruce (late Wayne), Nancy and her husband Don Plain, Gary and his wife Candace Taylor and Lyle and his wife Kim Taylor. Dear son-in-law of Marion G. Taylor (late Allan).
Predeceased by his parents Donald and Viola (Preston) White.
Robert will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families as well as many friends.
Robert, a devoted family man, was passionate about motorcycles, travelling in the Caribbean and spending time at their cottage with his wife, children and grandchildren. He also had a great love and respect for animals.
Visitation will be held at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday (Feb 8th). Funeral service will be held in the Barnes Chapel on Thursday (Feb 9th) at Noon, followed by a reception.
In memory of Robert, donations to Autism Ontario or the Humane Society of Durham Region would be most appreciated.
