Obituary for Frederick George Phillips
Passed peacefully at Fairview Lodge Whitby on Saturday September 20th, 2014 at the age of 87.
Beloved husband of Patricia Phillips (nee Farrell)
Much loved father of Rick and his wife Cynthia of Brooklin and John and his wife Shelley of Whitby. Grandfather of Brandon, Rebecca, Alexandria and Wesley.
Survived by his sister Gladys Atherton his brothers Don Phillips and Ron Phillips (Leota)
Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother William and sisters Margaret and Vinay.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N Whitby from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. A service to celebrate Fred’s life will be held in the Barnes Chapel Thursday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
A reception will follow at the Brooklin Legion, in memory of Fred and in lieu of flowers, buy a beer for a friend.
Pat, Rick, John and their families would like to thank all at Fairview Lodge, Whitby for their care and compassion of Fred for the last several years. Your kindness, will be forever remembered.
