Passed away at his home in Ajax on Friday August 22nd, 2014 at the age of 70.
Dearly loved husband of Jean for 46 years.
Much loved Dad of Iain Peters and his partner Louise Aitchison of Stouffville and Stephanie Huron and her husband Dennis of Port Perry. Loved Grandad of Ocean, Cameron, Keegan and Kyle.
Carl will be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Patricia (Jeffrey Smith) of England.
Carl was highly respected in the aerospace industry in Canada, He spent several years working for Land Rover UK, accomplishments he was very proud of. Carl’s infectious smile, sense of humor and genuine personality will be forever remembered by co-workers around the Globe. Carl and Jean traveled extensively, Carl has left his mark on the world and will be missed.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church, (101 Winchester Rd ) Brooklin on Thursday August 28th, at 11:00 a.m.
