Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday August 8th, 2019 at the age of 77.
Loving husband of the late Vasiliki Wachtel (2014).
Much loved Dad of Michael and his wife Claudia of Whitby and Eric and his wife Anne of Toronto.
Cherished grandfather of Ethan and Riley. Survived by his brothers Rudy and Rainer and his sister Brigitte.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Saturday August 17th, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service in the Barnes Chapel Saturday morning at 11:00.
Hans will be laid to rest beside his wife at Groveside Cemetery.
In memory of Hans, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
