Obituary for Huseyin Fikret Ruso
Huseyin Fikret Ruso passed away at his family cottage on Ahmic Lake on Friday, July 19, 2019. He leaves behind his loving wife, soul mate and best friend Mary-Ruth Ruso (Kelly) and his three beautiful children, Scarlett, Delilah and Harrison. Huseyin was a loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and a dear friend to many. Family was everything to him.
He is survived by his devoted parents, Bulent and Ayesha (nee Kiani) Ruso, dear brother Halil Ruso (Christina) and sisters Sare Fox (Russell) and Yeliz Ruso; cherished dede Huseyin and nene Sare Kiani, loving mother in law Marion Kelly and sisters in law, Sarah Kelly (Pierre Sanon) and Jen Kelly. He loved his nieces and nephews very much - Ede, Zeki, İlayda & Mikail Ruso, Ethan & Dylan Fox; Naïma, Koby, Tevin & Aiden Sanon; Sophie & Carson Bibby. Huseyin also had numerous aunts and uncles and cousins in England and Cyprus whom he loved and respected, as well as the many aunts and uncles on his wife’s side of the family.
Our hearts are broken at the loss of one who was loved so much by so many.
Family and friends will be received at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby, for visitation on Friday July 26th from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. A Celebration of Huseyin’s Life will follow in the Barnes Chapel at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Huseyin may be made to the children's education fund.
Transfers to the education funds can be made through Canadian Scholarship Trust for Scarlett 20320884,
