Dear Aunt Eleanor and family - I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Uncle Gord and offer my sincerest condolences. I will always remember Uncle Gord as a kind and soft-spoken man with an easy, gentle smile. I remember a time when he remodeled our home in Scarborough (among his many talents he was a masterful carpenter and renovator). My late mother Hazel Beck would always chuckle when remembering that time - noting that Uncle Gord would always be humming along to his favourite tunes as he worked - but she suspected that he was making up new original songs as he went along! - he just seemed to possess a talent to enjoy the little things in life. Kindest Regards, Cathie Beck-Amos, Uxbridge, ON.

Dear Eleanor and family, we were very sad to hear of Gord's passing. He will be greatly missed. Gord was a real gentleman, a kind and thoughtful man we enjoyed spending time with, walking at the Port Perry arena and sharing our time with you both going out for lunches and sharing in many conversations with you both. We have enjoyed being in both of your company and to let you know that he will always be remembered by us. Our thoughts are with you and your family. Take care.

Dear Eleanor, our hearts are broken at Debbie's news. What a good neighbour - the best, and what a thoughtful, giving friend. Gord was the brother I never had ... We are thinking of you and we are praying for you and your family. Much love and warm hugs, Christine and Marc, Jean (John), Marie and Pierre
