Evelyn Frances Richardson died suddenly on Sunday, February 17, 2019, at the age of 68 from stage-4 lung cancer. Of Picton, formerly of Toronto and Glasgow, Scotland. Daughter of the late Norma Margaret & John Edwin. Dear mother of Wendy Elise, Adam John, and Matthew Robert. Lovingly remembered by grandsons Emmett and Griffin Richardson. Dearly missed by sisters Marlene Ann Curson and Shirley May and her husband Michael Prue and close childhood friend Brenda Hounsell. As a foster parent for 17 years, Evelyn provided a loving home to many children in need. At Evelyn’s request, there will be no funeral and her ashes will be scattered by family at a later date. Her family sincerely thanks the nurses, doctors, and staff at QHC Belleville General Hospital and Lakeridge Health Oshawa for the compassionate care provided.
