Condolence: I am broken hearted with the loss of Donna. I worked with Donna on the orthopaedic floor for many years. She was a gifted nurse that was compassionate and dedicated. She was a friend to us all and always a welcoming face in the morning.
We also were connected as children we realized several years after working together. Grant her father did dome cementing around our family farm and we would play together when her Dad came out as well as her sister Mary Ellen. It was wonderful that life brought us back together. I will miss you. You had a heart of gold.

Condolence From: Peggy Foreman
Condolence: I worked with Donna at Lakeridge Health Oshawa from 1975 – 1991. I was a new RN and she was a full-time nurse on 7 main. She was wonderful. She took me under her wing, taught me, supported me and made me a better nurse. I left the hospital to raise our family. We casually kept in touch but our lives went down different roads.
I retired last year so had the time to reconnect with people from the past and it was as if Donna and I had never spent a day apart. I can still hear her laugh and enjoyed hearing about how she was enjoying her retirement. I was looking forward to seeing her more often. So sorry our time was cut short.
Donna will be missed by all who knew her.
I am away this weekend so will not be able to attend her service but my thoughts are with you.
