Condolence: I am broken hearted with the loss of Donna. I worked with Donna on the orthopaedic floor for many years. She was a gifted nurse that was compassionate and dedicated. She was a friend to us all and always a welcoming face in the morning.
We also were connected as children we realized several years after working together. Grant her father did dome cementing around our family farm and we would play together when her Dad came out as well as her sister Mary Ellen. It was wonderful that life brought us back together. I will miss you. You had a heart of gold.

Condolence: My condolences on the loss of your daughter, sister, aunt and friend. When I first worked with Donna it was on a drop in day for me on her floor. She was very supportive, caring and definitely a hard worker. Her encouragement put me at ease and gave me confidence as a newer graduate. She is now at peace and having some R&R!. God Bless

Condolence: So very sad to read about Donna and to have my last visit with her at the funeral home. Not what we had planned. Like everyone who knew her, I admired her kindness, patience and caring for people. She was a credit to the nursing profession. When we visited in the summer, we shared our husband’s unexpected passing. She could even make you laugh talking about the sadness. What an inspiration. To have known her was a privilege, to have worked with her an honour. May the love of family and friends bring you consolation. My sincere condolences .

Condolence: I was so saddened by the news of Donna's passing. I first met Donna as a new grad in 1990 on orthopedics. She had a beautiful soul-kind, caring, supportive to everyone. It's been many years since I've seen Donna after our time on 4 Main but I have such wonderful memories of her from those days.
My deepest condolences to her family.

Condolence: Donna and I met in the very beginning of our nursing careers, as students. We continued to see each other on occasion, although we both worked at OGH, later LHO. Our love of nursing took us in different directions, but I was always happy to meet Donna, and share a laugh, a story and be the recipient of Donna’s huge smile! I would like to offer my deepest condolences to Donna’s family, at this time. We have all lost a wonderful, giving person, and an excellent RN. God Bless!

Condolence: My deepest condolences to Donna's family. We graduated from OGH School of Nursing together. Over the years we would bump into one another at the hospital or in community, Donna was always the epitome of kindness. Rest in Peace, Donna.

Condolence: I was saddened to hear about Donna’s sudden passing. I met Donna in 1971 when we entered the Oshawa General Hospital Scool of Nursing. Donna’s smile and sense of humour was what I remember most. Even after moving away for many years when I returned for an Alumnae luncheon, Donna was the same, she has that same big warm smile. She will be missed.
