Condolences

Condolence From: Patricia Fox
Condolence: When I was a little girl Auntie Jean would take me and my sister Margaret out for the day and we would visit our other Aunts or have treats and spend time in the local playground. I always hoped that my friends would see us because we had the prettiest Aunt. She was the first person I knew who wore nail 'varnish' and she always smelled so good. On her wedding day she looked just like a Movie Star with her handsome husband by her side. I was only 6 years old but I can remember it so well. She was such a proud and loving Mother and so excited to have a family of her own. Jean was a very gentle and comforting soul and I cannot picture her without her lovely smile, making me feel that everything would be ok. I have so many memories to sustain me through this time. Rest in peace pretty lady. Much love.

Condolence: The chosen photo of my aunt Jean is one which makes me smile, and then cry, because I will not see her smile any longer. But this is the Jean I remember - always smiling, often poking fun, always loving her family and friends. I will miss her every day and will try to honour that smile and the spirit of her in the years to come. I smile when I think of her meeting up with Winnie, and her parents, Ada and Joe.

Condolence: Our sincere sympathy to you, Terry, and all the family. Jean was well known by the girls at City Hall in the 1970's as she kindly shared her excellent recipe for pie pastry. It was the best! Kindnesses are always remembered.

Condolence: Lynn, to your Dad and family our heartfelt condolences. Those who mean the most to us, Are ever really gone. For in our thoughts and in our hearts Their memory still lives on So may you find that the passing of time can somehow help continue to heal Those memories will ease the loss And sorrow that you still feel Friends may think the wound is healed But they little know the sorrow Lying within our hearts concealed The rolling stream of life rolls on .... thinking of you today Rick and Eva Canfield
