Obituary for James Edgar Row

The world lost a guardian of greatness on November 15th, 2017, when James Edgar Row (Jim, Jimbo, Papas) passed away unexpectedly. James is survived by his adoring and accomplished children Brendan, Kimberly, and Meredith, his grandchildren, who were his inspiration and light of his life these past few years, Nathan, and Jade (with a third grandchild arriving imminently), and son-in-laws Ryan, and Steven who were as near and dear to him as his own children. James also leaves behind his Wolf Pack (Terry, Paul & Bryan), his close cousin Jackie, his Aussie Family of Stuart, Cherie, Janis & Phil.

Always a Gentleman, Jim would have us mention the good years with his former wife of many years, Judith Noble who passed a few years ago

Tragically, James’ brother John just passed away a few months ago. James will be reunited with his brother, as well as his father (Jack Row) and mother (Barbara Jean Row) at the Row family plot in Brockville, Ontario.

Jim was born August 18 1949, in Peterborough ON, attended high school at Victoria Park, degree at Queens University in Kingston, ON. Jim had an illustrious career in business development and sales, culminating in senior leadership positions with Johnson & Johnson that took he and his family across the globe. His legacy and greatness in the art of selling lives on through his children. His mantra "Sales should never be a dirty word" will not be soon forgotten.

We invite everyone to come and tip a glass and share a ‘Jim story’ in a celebration and remembrance of the life of Jim Row. In honour of the avid golfer that Jim was, the celebration of his life will be held on December 2nd, 2017 at the stunning Angus Glen Golf Club, (Victoria Room )commencing at 12 PM. (End 230pm)

In lieu of donations, we would prefer you spend a little bit of extra money and time with a family member or loved one. It would be great to hear about the time you set aside on your card. For those who cannot attend, especially those that Jim held close in Australia, British Columbian & around the globe, the celebration will be LIVE STREAMED & INTERACTIVE. Please email Jrowmemorial@gmail.com to be included in the event.

Memory is the treasury and guardian of all things great. We who knew and loved James Row were so very fortunate. It is In his peaceful rest that he will continue to guide us to all that is great.
