Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday October 19th, 2014 at the age of 89.
Loved husband of Valleverdina (Zambri)Vigilante for 61 years.
Much loved father of Saverio and his wife Filomena of Ajax, Matteo and his wife Maxine of Kelowna B.C., Antonio of Oshawa and Caterina Silva and her husband Paulo of Whitby.
Loved Nonno of Carmine and his wife Diane, Ashley, Joshua, Jason, Andre, Peter, Alexis, Franco, Torrencio, Joel and Tiana.
Great Nonno of Noah, Juliet, Gabriela, Matteo, Jade, Natascia, Jacob and Kayla.
Son of the late Saverio & Caterina (Iacobaccio) Vigilante
Brother of Pasquale, Octavio, Nardina (Auito), Gino, Luigi and Antonio.
Brother-in-law of Antonio, Carmela (Lamanna), Rosina (Annicchiarico), Leonardo.
Resting at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby (905-655-3662) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Wednesday. Then to Holy Family Catholic Church, 91 Ribblesdale Dr Whitby for Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday (October 23rd) at 11:30 a.m.
Entombment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.
In memory of Carmine, memorial donations to Prostate Cancer Canada or Lakeridge Health Foundation would be appreciated.
