Condolences

Condolence From: Monica E Murphy
Condolence: I met Ruby, and Bill, after I moved in next door to their Florida home. She soon became an extended member of my family. I enjoyed her winter visits to Florida almost as much as she did. Ruby was a true friend. Always there with a good story, a laugh and a hug. Ruby lived life fully and on her own terms. She will be missed terribly, but many happy memories will remain forever in my heart. Rest in peace, Ruby, as you travel onward to your next great adventure.

Condolence From: DIANE and Sandra Wood
Condolence: Our condolences to Ruby’s family and close friends. We met her a few months ago at Amica. She was happy and always making sure everyone was doing well. She gave me some advice a short time ago and I thank her for it. She reminded me that despite the health challenges to hang onto your independence she had a zest for life and brought smiles to many faces. God bless you Ruby and thank you. Sandra and Diane Wood

Condolence From: Hughes Children
Condolence: When Grandma Mary Hughes moved into Amica, Ruby was ready to welcome her and her grandchildren. She will be forever remembered as the kind "pool lady" who was always welcoming of children and willing to play a game, sharing her skills with love and laughter. Thank you dear Ruby. Our condolences upon the loss of your sweet mother.

Condolence From: Heather Carruthers (MacNaughton)
Condolence: Ruby and my mother, Carol MacNaughton, became fast friends when Ruby moved to Uxbridge a few houses down from my parents' home. When both were newly widowed, they began a series of adventures travelling the world (literally!), wintering at Ruby's Florida residence and relaxing at our family cottage in the summers. The two were best friends and got together daily. They did a lot of laughing and made many friends on their travels. Ruby was always ready to explore new places and things. She was fun-loving with a quick wit and sense of humour. She became an extended member of our family and joined us at many family events. We were blessed to have her in our lives. She will be missed. My condolences to your family.

Condolence From: Susan Cheshire
Condolence: When Bill and Ruby discovered they had new neighbors in Florida, they were quick to welcome us to the neighborhood. We often shared drinks and sometimes dinner together. Ruby was always very outgoing and social. She loved life and she will be greatly missed. Ruby We pray God’s blessings upon you. We will see you on the other side of the river. You are loved and we will miss you so much. Matthew and Susan Cheshire
