Dan was both convincing and instrumental in facilitating The Toronto Western's Hospital acquisition of one of the first 3T MRI systems in Canada. Not only did this unit provide the best MR imaging available for patients, its research capabilities led to changes in the standards of practice in Neuroradiology. We will always remember him for this as well as his great love for life, family, and friends.
