Obituary for Beryl Constance Cameron (Lucy)

Beryl C Cameron passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday September 27th at the age of 80. Survived by her husband James Cameron.

Loving mother of Jamie McNeil (Lynn), Peter McNeil (Linda), Jeff McNeil, Mark McNeil (Pat), Jacquie Burke (Bob), Christine McNeil (Keith) and Suzanne Crease (Mark).

Cherished grandmother of 18 and great grandmother of 16. Sister of John Ross (Linda) of Hamilton. Predeceased by her brothers Barry and Leo.

Beryl will be forever remembered by many, she touched the lives of all who had the fortune to cross her life path. Beryl could always be counted on for her quick wit , positive outlook and life changing advice. Her generosity of spirit knew no bounds, always there to lend support to her family, friends and colleagues. She will live on in the hearts and minds of the staff and students whose lives she touched during her 30+ years as an educator and principal within the Hamilton and Durham Catholic School Boards. During her career her contributions to the educational communities she served were many, the least of which were OECTA President of the Hamilton unit, a Term as the Member of the Council for Exceptional Children, and a tenure at Trillium Provincial School in Milton.

Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Monday October 2nd from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Then to Holy Family Catholic Church, 91 Ribblesdale Drive Whitby for Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday October 3rd, at 10:30 a.m.
