Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at Reachview Village Uxbridge on September 6th 2017 at the age of 86.

Beloved wife of the late John Watson (2012).

Cherished mother of Valerie Smith (Fritz), Donna (Bob) Horton, David Watson, Lori Watson, Paul Watson & Peter (Kathy) Watson.

Loving Grandmother of Jennifer (Chris), Tyler, Danielle, Bryan (Alisha), Alex, Melissa (Kevin), Brianna, Carter, Hannah and Paige. Cherished great-grandmother of Tyler, Justin, Kyle, William, Austin and Jason.

Doris will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Family and friends will be received for visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby 905-655-3662 on Tuesday September 12th 2017 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service honouring Doris’ life in the Barnes Chapel at 5:00.

A celebration reception will follow the service in the Barnes Bistro Hall and Patio Garden.

Doris will be privately laid to rest beside her husband at Thornton Cemetery Oshawa.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or The Salvation Army.
