Passed at his home with family present on Wednesday June 21st, 2017 at the age of 81.
Much loved dad of Elyse (Lisi) Pinder and her husband Steve of Whitby and Suzanne Santaguida and her husband Frank of Whitby. Grandfather of Josie and the late Gwen. Survived by his brothers Don and Gary. Pre-deceased by his brother Deryk.
Bob spent many years teaching French in Scarborough and in his retirement spent many years volunteering with the York Durham Heritage Railway.
A celebration reception will be held at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Tuesday June 27th. Friends are invited to join the family at any time between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to share memories of Bob.
In memory of Bob, memorial donations to a charity befitting his memory. Lisi and Suzi wish to offer heartfelt thanks to all at Taunton Mills for the care and compassion given to our dad.
