Passed away on Sunday April 16th, 2017 at the age of 89. Devoted husband of Jean Medland (nee Gimblett) for 64 years.
Loving father of Bill Medland and his wife Janet of Apsley and Barb Medland of Brooklin.
Loving grandfather of Tonya (Jeff), Tammy (Andrew), Teana (David), Rebecca (Oliver), Amanda, D’Arcy (Lila)
Great grandfather of Olive and Ella.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Members of the Masonic Order are asked to assemble at the funeral home, Wednesday afternoon for a service commencing at 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place in the Barnes Chapel immediately following the Masonic Service.
John will be laid to rest at Groveside Cemetery, Brooklin.
