Passed peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday March 29th, 2017 at the age of 78.

Dear father of Evelyn McGrogan and her husband Richard Doucett of Richmond Hill and James McGrogan and his wife Andrea Graham of Whitby.

Cherished grandfather of Cynthia, Scott (Alannah), Owen and Cameron.

Great Grandfather of Logan, Olivia, Violet and Audrey. Fondly remembered by his special friend Patricia.
Survived by his sister Mary Kidd (late Joe). Predeceased by his brother Jack (Veronica) and his sisters Margaret, Eileen and Rose.

Survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.

Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral service in the Barnes Chapel Monday morning at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

In memory of James, memorial donations to Lakeridge Health Foundation (Cancer Care) would be appreciated by the family.
