Obituary for Joseph Vernon Young

Joseph Vernon Young
Joseph (Buddy) Young born August 9, 1938 of Oshawa passed away surrounded by family on March 2nd, 2017. Was loved by all; especially his loving wife Juanita, his children Joe, Darlene and Ron, his grandchildren Nicole, Matt, Nolan, Jeffery and Beckah as well as his great-grandchildren Cassidy, Cailey, Caidy, Malaya, Cason, Kobe, Aiden and Coen. He is survived by 10 siblings - Rosie, Patsy, Sonny, Mella, Kenny, Sis, Georgie, Robbie, Phil and Trudy and he will be joining his parents William and Hazel as well as his big brother Junior.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was an exceptional man who showed wonderful kindness to all, even complete strangers.

He loved unconditionally in an effortless way. He cherished all in his company, especially his loving wife of 60 years. He was a father who worked hard but always had time to take his kids camping, a tradition that continued with his grandkids and great-grandbabies. He was all about his babies and he always loved them so.
Dear Grandpa,
I promised you we would have Nova Scotia lobster in your honour. I’m sure wherever you are has “all you can eat” but just in case, we’ll save the biggest one for you. Sending you as many “million dollar kisses” as you can carry. Until we meet again.

There will be no funeral or formal celebration as per the wishes of the deceased. Cremation arrangements have been made. The family has asked that no flowers be sent or donations made in his name.
“If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.”
