Knight, Marilyn Joyce.
Passed away at Ajax Pickering Hospital (Lakeridge Health) on Thursday February 2nd 2017 at the age of 80. Much loved mother of Jim of Whitby, Diane Daniels and her husband George of Pickering, Cheryl Patch and her husband Justin of Courtice, Debbie Shields and her husband Kevin of Whitby and Beverly Elnor and her husband Dave of Brooklin. Pre-deceased by her husband John O'Brien.
Loved grandmother of Roxanne (Chris), Cherie (Stefan), Kim (John), Kerry (Mickey), Billy, Bryan, Lisa (Matt), Laura (JP), Sarah (Ryan), Zach.
Great-grandmother of Alex, Jacob, Heather, Juleighanna , Ethan, Camryn, Hadley, Liam, Alyssa, Sydney, Lyla and two more to join the family soon.
Survived by her sisters Shirley Bell (Ian) and Clara Townley (late Al) and her brothers Richard Withers (late Bonnie), Ron Withers (Debbie). Pre-deceased by her brother Don Withers.
Survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Tuesday (Feb 7th). A celebration of life service will follow in the Barnes Chapel Wednesday at Noon.
In memory of Marilyn, memorial donations to the Lung Association or Cerebral Palsy Canada would be appreciated.
Interment will follow at Mount Lawn Cemetery, Whitby.
