Obituary for Anne Brooks (Draffin)
Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa surrounded by the love of her family on January 24, 2017 at the age of 90.
Beloved wife of the late George Brooks (1970). Loved and loving mother of Bernard and his wife Suzanne, George and his wife Carol, Donald and his wife Adele and William and his wife Janice.
Cherished and much loved Granny of 11 and Great-Granny of 14.
Anne is lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A service to honour and celebrate Anne’s life will be held in the Barnes Chapel at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Wednesday February 1st at 11:00 a.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the family.
