Passed away peacefully at Chartwell Wynfield Long Term Care Residence in Oshawa, on Saturday January 21, 2017 at the age of 93.

Dearly beloved wife of the late Ferenc Smida (2011).

Loving mother of Margaret and her husband Robert, Mary Ann Chahrouri and her husband Sam and Imre Smida.

Grandmother of Robert, Tammy. Jason Chahrouri, Christine Cousins, Justin Chahrouri, and April Smida.
Great grandmother of Annie Margaret, Boo, Malaya, Kai, Kadin, Colin, Maddison and Jaycee.
Survived by her sister Elizabeth Antal.

A funeral service to honour Margit’s life will be held at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Tuesday January 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
