Condolences

Condolence From: The Petgrave family
Condolence:

Your beautiful smile and outgoing personality is now brighten up heaven. We were so saddened to learn of your passing, our heartfelt condolences to your sons and your husband. Although I have not seen you in a while, I think of you often and sent many greeting to you through your son. I will always remember the sweetbreads, the laughter and your beautiful personality.

Sleep well in Heaven my dear friend, keep the smiles an cheers going until we meet again. My dear son, your big man, as you playfully called him, was called to make music and share his light and big handsome smile in Heaven just weeks after you. Heaven must be a brighter place with more music and smiles because you are both there.

I am thankful to have had the pleasure of meeting you and your wonderful family. The Christmas dinner we shared at your home remains one of our favorite and cherished memories. Thank you for allowing us into you home, your heart and your lives. We are better because of our times together.
Sleep well my friend.
Love.

Condolence From: Jaki MacKinnon, Bethesda House
Condolence: Jacqueline worked with Bethesda House for the past 10 years, sharing her wisdom, humour and great home-cooking with both her fellow staff and the clients who passed through the shelter.

As a counsellor to our clients she was compassionate and non-judgemental, advocating for them and supporting them in their journey to move forward from abuse. As a colleague she could be counted on to lead by example and have your back when the work was difficult. As a friend she brought you her delicious macaroni & cheese when all you had planned for lunch was yogurt or crackers.

Our hearts go out to Jacqueline's family during this most difficult time. I know that they are very proud her in her role of wife, mother, and family member. We'd like them to know that they can also be very proud of her in her other role, that of Bethesda House counselor. Over the 10 years she was with us she made a positive difference in the lives of the women, youth and children she supported at Bethesda House. Her legacy will carry on through those women and families.

Jacqueline was true to who she was and in simply being herself, she had an amazing impact on everyone around her.

She will be greatly missed by the Bethesda House team.

Condolence: I worked with Jacqueline for almost twenty years at loblaws, she was a great friend and I will miss her a Lot. She had a great laugh, I can still hear her now. We worked together every Sunday and had some good laughs. Jacqueline knew how much I enjoyed her cooking and she would bring me lunch every Sunday, which I looked forward to every week, I would jokingly call her " the lunch lady" and she would laugh. I am so happy I got to see Jacqueline for the Christmas get together at Wendy's, that was a fun night and Jacqueline was in fine form, we had some laughs that night and that's how I will remember my friend. I miss you already and will never forget you. I am so glad I met Jacqueline and was lucky to have her in my life for amost twenty years..my condolences to Davis, Omar and Arlond at this sad time. Rest in peace my friend.

Condolence: Our condolences to Jacqueline family and the Lett family. We met Jackie in Calgary about 37 years ago we became instant friends. Through the years we enjoyed good times and was always their for each other no matter the circumstances. Jackie had a contagious laugh that would light up any room.
She always include us in her family gatherings. We were so
connected that when Jackie moved to Trinidad we thought we would have to go to Trinidad to see her. However, the Lord would have it that the day Keith, Jordan and I left Calgary for Toronto, a plane from Trinidad landed in Toronto with
Jackie and her two boys. (That is connection). Our friendship continued and our last conversation was just before Christmas when we discussed our plans for the holidays.
Gone too soon my friend. REST IN PEACE

Condolence From: Sandy
Condolence: I have been working with Jacqueline at the shelter since I started and we grew very close. We talked often and I loved to listen to her stories. She spoke lovingly of her family and friends and we enjoyed many heart to heart talks. Jacqueline loved to cook for everyone and it brought her joy when she would bring in a vegan spicy dish that I would love!
My deepest condolences to her husband and sons. She had such a deep love and commitment to them and her extended family. I shall miss my friend more then words can say and the loss is enormous.
