Loving husband of Theresa Da Silva. Loving Dad of Rita and her husband John, Barbara, Edna and her husband Cor, Tony and his wife Babita, Patsy and her husband Wilbert, Donna and her husband Jimmy, Penny, Carol, Maureen and her husband Chris, Mikey and his wife Hess, Lizzie and her husband Richard, Ann Marie, Juanita and her husband Jeff and Miranda. Predeceased by his son Johnny and his wife Puty.

John Will be fondly remembered by Habula Karamat, pre-deceased by Pearly Da Silva.

Loved grandfather of Tracy, Altea, Fiona, Ophia, Mark, Simon, Christina, Ayanna, Buford, Mark, Randy, Nikita, Lisa, John, Antonio, Paris, Amanda, Samantha, Kyle, Damian, Stephen, Natalie, Nicholas, Stephanie, Tiffany, Chelsea, Natasha, Kurt, Narisa, Safiyah, Aaron, Robbie, Angie and Joshua.

Great grandfather and great great grandfather to several.

Brother of Joseph and his wife Doris , May-May and Maggie. Predeceased by his brother Big Tony.
John will be fondly remembered by his nephew Michael and his wife Sherry as well as many other nieces and nephews and their families.

Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral Service in the Barnes Chapel on Monday December 19th, at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow the service at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
