Obituary for Giampietro (John) Locatelli
After a long and courageous battle with cancer John’s journey came to an end on August 22nd, 2016 at the age of 64 surrounded by his family.
John will be forever remembered by his wife Teresa, daughters Lisa and Lara and his son-in-law Al.
Cherished grandfather of Annya, Kyla and Erica. Survived by his parents-in-law Peter and Nina.
Dear brother of Alessandro (Cristina) and nieces Delia and Daiana also remembered by sister-in-law Carla (Java). John will be remembered by his many relatives and friends in Italy and Canada.
John’s family would like thank Dr. Koneru, Leanne RN (Paramed) and the team of nurses and staff of supportive care (4F) for their kindness, care and compassion.
In memory of John, memorial donations to Lakeridge Health Foundation (Cancer Care) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
As per John’s wishes, cremation has taken place. No service will be held.
