Obituary for John Wilson

John Wilson , age 86 died peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital on Monday May 16, 2016 after a brief illness.

John is preceded by his parents, sister Annis and brothers Billy and Bertie of Bangor Northern Ireland. Survived by his sister Patricia and Robinson Cadoo of Toronto, his brother Jim Wilson in Northern Ireland and many nieces and nephews both here and in Northern Ireland.

John was born on March 9, 1930 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He served in the British Army, Royal Engineers and was posted in Egypt in 1949 and remained active for seven years. In the late 1950's he travelled across the Atlantic and made his way to Canada, where he spent many years calling New Brunswick, Alberta and Sarnia his home. For the last four years, Kings Nursing Home in Bolton was his home.

He had a love for reading, and enjoyed watching the ships on Great Lakes of Ontario and enjoyed travelling to Toronto to visit with his family.

With Love we say goodbye to a wonderful brother, uncle and friend.
