Condolence: My deepest sympathy to Patti and Al and family,
I always called him Uncle Dave and I love him so much. He would call me weekly and we always had uplifting conversations. Uncle Dave was amazingly positive and always smiling and cheerful. He loved and appreciated Patti and Al for all they have done for him this past year. I think they are amazing and so did Uncle Dave. I will miss his calls and being able to stop by and visit him in Brooklin. He will be sadly missed by all of us. He was so special !! Love Heather

Condolence: We have never known anyone who was more universally loved than David. Never did he earn a harsh word to be said about him; and never have we met a more gentle soul. When he was younger and physically able, he charmed us all with his pumehana.
As his health waned and through his years of disability, discomfort, pain and loss , he never once whined or complained. His smile was always at the ready.
We've lost him; but we'd like to think that he is happily reunited now and still smiling at us all.
We'll always think of him with aloha nui loa

Condolence: We are sending you our love at this difficult time. Your profound love for David, and your extraordinary care, made his last months much more bearable. And don't forget, "missing means memories"... We're so sorry we can't make it to the service, but our prayers and our thoughts will be with you.
