Obituary for Donald George Allen
Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday February 18th, 2016 in his 80th year.
Much loved husband of Marlene (nee Harris) of Whitby for over 52 years.
Much loved Dad of Debbie Chamberlain and her husband Dave of Courtice, Daryl Allen and his wife Carolynne of Courtice, Derek Allen and his wife Sherry of Ajax and Darlene Green and her husband Geoff of Orangeville.
Dear Papa of Chris, David and Katie Cachia, Connor and Allana Allen, Leea and Jenna Allen and Taylor, Liam, Geoffrey and Jake Green.
Survived by his sister Eileen Agley and her husband Fred of Chambly, Que. And brother-in-law of Michael Harris of Oshawa.
Don is fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families, as well as long time friends including Bill and Cheryl Blouard.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Devost, Dr. Ngo and the Palliative care team at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Sunday February 28th from 1:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 2:00 p.m.
