Obituary for Frederick "Roy" Ormiston
Passed away at his home after a brief illness in his 101st year. Roy Ormiston, dearly loved husband of the late Thelma. Dearly loved Dad of Irwin and his wife Gladys, Jeanne Koster (late Rudy), Ruth Damant and her husband Bill, Bryan and his wife Susan. Pre-deceased by Marion (late Pete).
Grandfather and Great-Grandfather of Many. Pre-deceased by his brothers Grant, Earl, Hugh and Dean. Roy will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews and their families.
Roy’s life was farming, his commitment to his family, his friends and his community is his legacy. He will be missed.
As per Roy's wishes, the family will hold a private family service at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N Whitby on Friday afternoon.
In memory of Roy, memorial donations to a charity close you your own heart would be greatly appreciated.
