Condolence: Dear Paul Pauline Kevin and your Families. Today we said good-bye to our Dear Friend Kay, We have known each other since the 70s when I first came to Scarborough General. Kay's career took her in another direction until she returned to our IV Team. Kay was one of the kindest, caring and empathetic nurses I have ever known. We shared many happy and sad memories over the years she always celebrated her lovely Family. Thank-you Kay for being such a Special Friend You will be Forever Missed.

Condolence: Dear Uncle Paul, Pauline and Kevin. Words cannot express what a great loss you have suffered. Aunt Kay was one of the sweetest women I know, I loved to see her when she came to Newfoundland for a visit. She was really there for me when my mom passed away and I'll always remember that.

Bless you all
Ann Marie

Condolence From: Bev Connelly
Condolence: Dear Paul and family. I was so sorry to read of Kay's passing in the Star yesterday. I retired from Scarborough General in 2001 and I don't often get the paper here in Exeter. Kay and I worked on the IV team together in the 80's and then I went to Tower 9 and she then was responsible for the lab staff. We had some great days on the team and some not so great, but we could always count on the other members to help pick up the pieces, especially Kay. Thinking of you all as she so often talked about you and remembering her with fondness, Bev Connelly.

Condolence: Dear Paul and Family:
I am very saddened by the loss of your beautiful wife, mother and Grandmother.
Our friendship goes back many years. Kay had a special quality in her listening ear, compassion understanding and warmth. She was so proud of her family and the time they spent together.
We are all feeling the loss and will remember how she touched each of our lives. We will never forget her and will keep her close in our thoughts and prayer always.

Condolence From: Carol Small
Condolence: Dear Paul and Family,
My sadness is beyond measure at the loss of your precious Kay. She was my very dear friend and colleague over many years and we shared such wonderful times, one of which included the 43 Club.
We held the same values - she was such a wonderful person and Nurse, who touched my heart and soul.
It only takes this little space to write how much we miss her, but it will take the rest of our lives to forget the day we lost her.
My sincerest sympathy, Carol Small.

Condolence: Dear Paul & family,
I was so saddened to hear about Kay. I, along with other of our "'43 Club", have fond memories of our birthday get togethers, so many laughs. As you know,I worked with Kay and she was always patient focused and professional in her Nursing care and supported many staff. Kay will be missed but always be in our hearts.
Fondly,
Ursula (Verstraete)
