Obituary for John Leslie "Les" Bartholomew
Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday April 26th, 2015 at the age of 81.
Pre-deceased by his loving wife Lorraine Bartholomew (nee Russell).
Much loved father of Michael, Paul and his wife Kathy, John, Diana and her husband Ken, Carol and her husband Doug, Brian and his wife Susan, Dale and his wife Anita.
Cherished grandfather of Crystal, Adam, David, Steven, Jennifer-Lynne, Billy, Nicole, Michael, Caroline, Colin, Jordyn, Liam and great-grandfather of Isobel.
Loving brother of Joan and her husband Earl and Percy and his wife Helen.
Pre-deceased by his brothers Robert and Ted and his sister Bertha.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N Whitby (905-655-3662) from 11:00 a.m. Thursday (April 30th) until time of funeral service in the Barnes Chapel Thursday at Noon.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
