Obituary for Marvin Nancekivell

(Ret. Volunteer Whitby Fire Dept. (Brooklin), ( Ret. General Motors 42 Years)

Passed peacefully at his home on Thursday October 2, 2014 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Irene Nancekivell (nee Andrews) for 56 years.

Much loved Dad of Andrew of Brooklin and Peggy and her husband Greg Van Staveren of Courtice. Loved grandfather of Kristen, Victorian, Thomas, Grayson and Janneke.

Survived by his brother Al Nancekivell (Shurlene) of Whitby. Pre-deceased by his Brothers Gord and Lorne. Survived by his sisters-in-law Val Nancekivell and Margaret Andrews.

Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews as well as life long friends in his beloved Brooklin Community.

Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby (905-655-3662) from 12 Noon Monday.(October 6th) A service to celebrate Marvin’s Life will follow in the Barnes Chapel at 1:00 p.m.

In memory of Marvin, memorial donations to Lakeridge Health Foundation (Cancer Care) would be appreciated.
