Obituary for Lorne Robert "Boompa " Jones
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Community Nursing Home Pickering on September 4th at the age of 88.
Beloved husband of the late Isabel Joyce Jones (2012).
Much loved father of Lynn Robb and her husband Karl of Oakville and Jude Jones and her partner Brian of Port Perry.
Loving grandfather of Krista (Paul), Kerry (Glen), Marny (Andy),
Dale (Betty), Sarah (Jake), Megan (Will).
Loved and Loving great grandfather and great-great grandfather.
Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Resting at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby 905-655-3662 for visitation on Wednesday September 10th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in Barnes Chapel on Thursday September 11th at 11:00 a.m.
