Obituary for Gerlinde Ferkl
Ferkl, Gerlinde Julianne (nee Kutschera) April 28, 1936 - July 23, 2014.
Passed away peacefully at her home in
Brooklin, Ontario, after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. Survived by her husband of 56 years, Anton, and her 3 children, Helga Ciampaglia (John), Angela Von Gemmingen (Peter), and Peter Ferkl (Sheri).
Proud and loving Oma of Chris (Min), Nicole (Roger), Amanda, Alex, Aidan and Big Oma of Ryan.
A kind and gentle woman who had an amazing ability to touch the lives of those who were fortunate enough to have met her.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby (905-655-3662) from 10:30 am Saturday until time of service in the Barnes Chapel Saturday morning at 11:30.
Private Interment will follow the service at Groveside Cemetery.
