Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday April 21st, 2014 at the age of 71.
Forever loved by his wife Louise (nee Fortin) of Oshawa.
Much loved Dad of Daniel and his partner Jenn McCraw of St. Catharines, Josee Dorsch of Petawawa, Christine Rivard and her husband Reuben of Whitby and Pierre Rivard and his wife Marcy of Whitby.
Dear grandfather of 10 grandchildren.
Loving brother of Laurent Rivard (Mariette) of Haileybury,
Lena Dumoulin (late Romeo) of Grand Prairie, AB.,
Lorraine Dushesne of Quebec City. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N Whitby from 12 Noon Thursday May 8th until time of memorial service in the Barnes Chapel at 1:00 p.m.
In memory of Leandre, memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society (Whitby) would be appreciated by the Rivard Family.
